Frequently Asked Questions

Are chriopractors really using saunas in their practice?

Yes! We have sold numerous saunas to chiropractic offices. The benefits of a sauna option in your practice can help increase your revenue (by having a "full" or "premium" treatment with the sauna before hand) and improve patient outcomes.

The sauna will help relieve muscle tension and relaxes your patients before your treatment, allowing for the adjustment to be "accepted" by the body with less resistance.

How to determine if my electrical setup can service a sauna?

First, let's make sure it's clear that this is an absolutely crucial aspect of purchasing a sauna. Without the proper electrical setup by a professional, it can lead to very dangerous situations if not setup properly.

Each sauna has it's own electrical requirements. On eSteamed Saunas, we strive to provide this information on as many saunas as possible so you can be informed before making a purchase.

Some saunas can be plugged into a standard wall outlet, but this is NOT common and only covers the smallest saunas typically. Even in this scenario of allowing a sauna to plug into a standard 110V outlet, it will most likely require a dedicated breaker in your electrical panel. This is common for many appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, etc.

Generally, most saunas will require a 240V outlet with a dedicated 30 amp breaker. That said, it's very important to check the electrical requirements on the product before purchasing, as some have additional requirements.

We always recommend that you hire a professional certified electrician to have your sauna installed.

How to determine if I have enough space for a sauna?

Determining whether you have enough space is relatively strightforward. If you have an area in mind for where you think the sauna can be placed, start by measuring the total area.

Next, you can reference our product page to gather details about the dimensions of nearly any sauna. If we don't have this information, please reach out and we're happy to deliver this information to you.

Lastly, it is important to consider that each manufacturer has specific recommendations for the space that should be left around the object. Most saunas should not set flush against the wall, given the heat and sometimes moisture that may be emanating from the product. These space guidelines can be found in the product manual, but generally several inches around each side of the sauna is necessary, and usually 12" - 24" on the top.

Can you help me navigate this purchase and make recommendations?

Yes, absolutely! That is what we're here for.

We offer a free consult call, done over the phone or video conference to discuss your needs. Once we have an understanding of what you're looking for and your requirements, then we can offer some recommendations.

Do you offer financing for purchasing saunas?

We certainly do! In the checkout experience on eSteamed Saunas, there is an option for "Shop Pay" which will allow to you "buy now, pay later" if you qualify.

This option will prompt you with several questions to gather your qualifications, and then make an offer for splitting your payment into multiple installments at some interest rate based on your information.

You can find more information about financing your purchase here.
